Advantages of LSAW Steel Pipe JCOE Forming

Straight seam steel pipes can be divided into high-frequency straight seam resistance welded pipes (ERW pipes) and submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes (LSAW steel pipes) according to the production process. Submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes are divided into UOE, RBE, JCOE, etc. according to their different forming methods. JCOE steel pipe production process is simple, high production efficiency, low cost and rapid development

JCOE is one of the forming methods and equipment for straight seam steel pipes. The products go through multiple processes such as bending, jointing, internal welding, external welding, straightening, and flattening to meet relevant standards. The inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe should be smooth, and no folding, cracks, delamination, lap welding, arc breakage, burn-through and other local defects with a depth exceeding the lower wall thickness deviation are allowed. Other local defects with a depth not exceeding the lower wall thickness deviation are allowed.

Advantages of JCOE forming of straight seam double-sided submerged arc welded pipes:
1. Completely automated;
2. It is welded under submerged arc, so its heat exchange and protection performance is relatively strong, and the quality of the welded product is relatively high;
3. In submerged arc automatic welding, the arc is buried under the welding flux, so it can use large current and the welding efficiency is relatively high.

JCOE steel pipes play an important role in large-scale pipeline projects, water and gas transmission projects, urban pipeline network construction, steel structure buildings, bridge piling, municipal construction and urban construction.
