How to Clean Seamless Pipe

For seamless pipes that have been used for a long time, the oil sludge and rust in the pipes solidify, causing the original pipe diameter to become smaller. Hydrogen sulfide gas produced by sludge precipitation in the pipe will cause environmental pollution and easily cause explosion. The seamless pipe will form rolling skin when the raw material steel pipe, steel plate, stainless steel, etc. are rolled. In the process of manufacturing, storage, transportation and installation of seamless pipes, impurities such as rust, welding slag, oily antirust agent coated on seamless pipes, dust, sand, cement, and thermal insulation materials will be formed. The above-mentioned various impurities such as peeling, rust, welding slag, antirust agent and sediment seriously affect the normal use of the pipeline, so the seamless pipe is cleaned to restore the surface of the material itself in the seamless pipe. After cleaning, a dense chemical passivation film is formed on the clean metal surface, which can effectively prevent the re-generation of dirt. Cleaning method of seamless pipe
1. Chemical cleaning. Chemical cleaning pipelines use chemical agents to temporarily transform the seamless pipes, and use temporary pipelines and circulation pump stations to perform circular chemical cleaning from both ends of the seamless pipes. This technology has the characteristics of strong flexibility, no requirement on the shape of the pipeline, fast speed and thorough cleaning.
2. High pressure water cleaning. The high-pressure water jet above 50Mpa is used to strip and clean the dirt on the inner surface of the seamless pipe. This technology is mainly used for short-distance pipelines, and the diameter must be greater than 50cm. The technology has the characteristics of high speed and low cost.
3. PIG pigging. PIG industrial pigging technology relies on the driving force generated by the pump to drive the fluid to drive the PIG (pipe pig) forward in the pipe, and discharge the dirt accumulated in the pipeline out of the pipe, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning. This technology is widely used in cleaning projects such as various process pipelines, oil and gas pipelines in oil fields, especially for pipeline cleaning of long-distance fluid transportation, and has advantages that cannot be replaced by other technologies.

The method of cleaning the urban water supply seamless pipe is
1. Cut a section of the seamless pipe to be cleaned, and put the pig equipped with an electronic positioning transmitter into the short pipe. After connecting the pipes with pipe clips (or welding), start to pass water (or gas) to make the pig run.
2. Engineers and technicians hold electronic positioning receivers to track the operation of the pig along the pipeline.
3. A large amount of sewage is seen at the end of the seamless pipe, and the concentration is increasing.
4. When the pig reaches the terminal, the sewage gradually disappears, and the cleaning process ends.
