How to clean the surface of seamless pipes

1. Clean up
Use organic solvents and solvents to clean the surface of seamless pipes to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants and similar organic compounds, but it cannot remove rust and scale (produced by chemical reactions) on the surface of seamless pipes. corrosive substances, welding flux, etc., so it is only used as an auxiliary method in anti-corrosion manufacturing. Cleaning of seamless pipes requires technical expertise and lubricants to clean them. What are the actual methods and types of lubricants? Commonly used lubricants for cleaning seamless pipes include: soap or cooking oil. The actual methods  are as follows: Seamless pipes must be completely free of pipe end burrs before cleaning. Then use the hard pipe nozzle to send out 2 clean projectiles for cleaning.
seamless pipe
If there are hydraulic oil or vegetable oil contaminants in the pipeline, a hard pipe spring wheel should be used to break them up, so that such contaminants can be removed more effectively. If there are rust, weld marks, etc. in the pipe, a friction spring wheel should be used to break it and remove this contaminant first. The grinder can be used multiple times until it is determined that the contaminant has been removed. Whether you are using hard pipe bombs to remove crude oil contaminants or friction bombs to remove rust or weld marks, you must use a clean bomb to ensure ideal pipe cleanliness. If the seamless pipe is to be cleaned throughout the entire process, it is recommended to clean the seamless pipe before the assembly process.

After the whole process is assembled, it can only be interrupted and cleaned with a clean spring wheel. Be sure to pay attention to the joint between the seamless pipe and the joint, and there should be no steps. Plastic hose nozzles can also be used to clean seamless pipes, but when firing projectiles, they must be done from both ends to ensure that part of the nozzle is blocked for cleaning. Can greatly extend the service life of plastic hose nozzles.

2. Anti-rust treatment of special tools
Use special tools to polish the surface of seamless pipes to remove loose or lifted scale, rust, weld penetration, etc. The anti-rust treatment of hand tools can reach Sa2 level, and the anti-rust treatment of driving force special tools can reach Sa level three.

3. Pickling and passivation
Generally, chemical and electrolytic methods are used for pickling treatment. For pipe corrosion prevention, chemical pickling can only be used for passivation. This can remove oxide scale, rust, and old coatings. Sometimes it can be used as a polishing agent. Process after pill rust removal. Although chemical water treatment can achieve a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness on the surface, its anchor lines are shallow and can easily cause environmental pollution.

4. Spray (throw) anti-rust treatment
The spray (throwing) anti-rust treatment is based on the high-power motor driving the spray (throwing) blade to rotate at high speed, so that wear-resistant materials such as diamond sand, steel balls, thin wire segments, and minerals can attack the surface of the seamless pipe under the action of centripetal force. The spray (throwing) treatment can not only completely eliminate rust, oxides and waste, but also the seamless pipe can achieve the necessary uniform surface roughness under the strong impact and friction of the wear-resistant material. Spend. Seamless pipes have a hollow cross-section and are often used as pipelines for transporting liquids, such as pipelines for transporting crude oil, gas, liquefied gas, water and some solid raw materials.
