Should fire pipes be made of seamless pipes or galvanized pipes?

When installing fire-fighting pipes, they must meet regulatory requirements, so appropriate pipe materials must be selected. For this purpose, should fire-fighting pipes be used as seamless pipes or galvanized pipes?

1. Should fire-fighting pipes use seamless pipes or galvanized pipes?
Galvanized pipes are generally used. When the pipe diameter is required to be greater than 100mm, seamless pipes should be selected. Because the water pressure of firefighting pipes is relatively high during use, metal pipes need to be installed to meet the conditions. Galvanized pipes are a relatively large concept. You can choose ordinary steel pipes to be galvanized or seamless pipes to be plated. Zinc, so generally galvanized pipes will be used in fire protection systems. When the regulations require greater than 100mm, seamless pipes will be strictly required.

2. What should we pay attention to when constructing fire protection pipelines?
1) When hoisting and fixing fire-fighting pipes, the number of booms and fixed fulcrums need to be determined according to the size of the pipes, and the position must be accurate during installation to ensure that the fire-fighting pipes are installed firmly. Note that when setting the fixing clip, it is required that the clip and the pipe must be in close contact, but the pipe must not be damaged.
2) When installing fire pipes, they must be horizontal and vertical. If a turn is encountered during the installation process, a suitable elbow must be installed. Note that the radius of the turn must be the same as the pipe.
3) When the fire pipe needs to pass through the wall or floor, the casing must be set according to the specifications. Note that if the casing is installed in the floor, the top casing needs to be about 2 cm above the ground. If it encounters the kitchen floor Or the bathroom floor, then the height of the casing from the ground is required to be 5 cm, and the bottom of the casing must be flush with the ground.

2. Common accessories
In order to meet the needs of fire safety power supply, some power supply accessories are often set on the fire water supply pipeline to control the size, direction of water flow, working pressure of the pipeline, etc. Common power supply accessories include stop valves, butterfly valves, stop valves, check valves, air pressure gauges, automatic exhaust valves, etc.
1) Stop valves and shut-off valves are opening and closing parts, which are gate valves that cut off or open the flow of water.
2) The butterfly valve mainly plays the role of disconnecting and adjusting the flow on the pipeline.
3) The check valve is a gate valve that prevents the fire water from flowing back.
4) The air pressure gauge is used to monitor the pressure resistance of each part of the system to ensure the safety factor of machine and equipment operation.
5) The automatic exhaust valve is installed at the highest point of the fire safety pipeline to automatically release the gas generated in the pipeline.
