Steel sheet pile driver

Steel sheet piles are a common pile type in the field of steel structures and have the advantages of high bearing capacity, short construction period, and high construction efficiency. In the construction of steel sheet piles, the role of the pile driver is to drill the top of the steel sheet pile into the ground, and gradually let the steel sheet pile sink into the ground under conditions such as controlling the strength and frequency of the pile driver. With the continuous improvement of construction technology, steel sheet pile drivers are becoming more and more widely used, and it is necessary to understand the relevant knowledge of steel sheet pile drivers.

1. Types of steel sheet pile driving machines
According to their different operating principles, steel sheet pile driving machines can be divided into the following categories.
(1) Electric steel sheet pile driver
The electric driven pile driver supports a variety of working conditions and has wide applicability.
(2)Hydraulic steel sheet pile driver
The hydraulically driven pile driver has high output power and fast construction speed, and is suitable for large-scale steel sheet piling projects.
(3)Gasoline steel sheet pile driver
It is driven by an internal combustion engine and is compact in shape and flexible in movement. It is suitable for outdoor construction in suburban areas.
(4) Pneumatic steel sheet pile driver
It is driven by pneumatic power, has unique vibration force, good piling effect, and is suitable for special working conditions.

The above types of steel sheet pile driving machines each have their own characteristics, so the selection needs to be based on the actual use requirements.

2.Construction principle of steel sheet pile driver
(1) First, use tools such as a hammer or hoe to dig out the location and size of the corresponding steel sheet piles on the ground, and then place the steel sheet piles into the corresponding positions.
(2) Use tools to cut out a boss from the top of the steel sheet pile to make it a joint.
(3) Place an iron plate on the boss so that the steel sheet pile can withstand greater force.
(4) Place the pile driver on the iron plate, press the switch, and the steel sheet piles begin to gradually sink into the ground.

Note that when constructing steel sheet piles, the strength and frequency of the pile driver need to be strictly controlled to ensure the construction quality and safety of the steel sheet piles.

3. Construction steps of steel sheet pile driver
(1) Before construction, the piling area needs to be surveyed and measured to determine the design plan and construction plan.
(2) Send the steel sheet piles to the construction site and conduct acceptance and quality inspection. This step is to ensure that the quality, specifications and quantity of construction materials meet the design requirements.
(3) Carry out on-site construction preparations according to the construction plan, including site cleaning, road water removal, earthquake rock burst status inspection, etc.
(4) Confirm the position and direction of the stacking and piling machine, place the piling board, and adjust its vertical descent.
(5) Place the steel sheet pile on the piling plate and adjust it so that it faces the striking position of the pile driver.
(6) Start the pile driver, adjust the percussion rhythm and impact force and other parameters, and implement the steel
Sheet pile covering depth and arrangement.
(7) Acceptance of steel sheet piles to check whether the steel sheet piles are connected to the ground, etc.
(8) On the basis of the smooth progress of the steel sheet piling work, the deviation and bending degree should be observed and controlled at any time to ensure the safety of the operation process, and the funnel array should be inspected and adjusted in a timely manner.
