The structure and characteristics of thermal insulation pipeline

Insulation steel pipe is an important factor affecting energy saving, and the development and application of insulation steel pipe have received more and more attention from countries all over the world. After the 1970s, countries generally paid attention to the production and application of thermal insulation steel pipes, and strived to greatly reduce energy consumption, thereby reducing environmental pollution and the greenhouse effect.

Structure of insulation steel pipe

1.Working steel pipe: Seam steel pipe, seamless steel pipe, double-sided submerged arc spiral welded steel pipe (SSAW steel pipe) are used according to the technical requirements of the conveying medium.

2.Insulation layer: use rigid polyurethane foam.

3.Maintenance shell: use high-density polyethylene or glass fiber reinforced plastic.

4.Leakage alarm line: When manufacturing the prefabricated polyurethane direct-buried insulation pipe, an alarm line is embedded in the insulation layer close to the steel pipe. Once the pipe leaks somewhere, it can be alarmed on the special detection instrument through the conduction of the alarm line. It also shows the precise location of the leakage and the extent of the leakage, so as to tell the maintenance personnel to deal with the leaking pipe section and ensure the safe operation of the heating network.

Features of thermal insulation steel pipe
 
1. It uses rigid polyurethane with low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation as the thermal insulation material, which has excellent thermal insulation.
 
2. After normal operation, when 130℃ water is transported to 40 kilometers away, the temperature drop is only about 1℃.

3. It has strong waterproof and corrosion resistance. It does not need to be attached to the pipe and can be directly buried in the ground or water. The construction is simple and rapid, and the overall cost is low.

4. It also has good corrosion resistance and impact resistance under low temperature conditions, and can be directly buried in frozen soil.

5. The prefabricated insulation pipe uses a corrosion-resistant (high-density polyethylene) outer sleeve, which is not affected by biological and chemical corrosion.

6. According to the needs of users, we can provide various pipe diameters and insulation thicknesses and matching pipe fittings (elbows, tees, reducing pipes, fixed joints, etc.)
