Welded tube fittings

Welded tube fittings refer to various equipment and components used to dry connect, support, repair, control or expand piping systems. In the industrial, construction and civil fields, piping systems play an important role, and pipe fittings are a key component to ensure the normal operation of the piping system. Common welded tube accessories include flanges, tees, elbows, etc.

1.Flange
Flange, also called flange plate. Flange is a part that connects shafts to each other, and is used for the connection between pipe ends; it is also used as a flange on the inlet and outlet of equipment, for the connection between two equipment, such as a reducer flange. Flange connection or flange joint refers to a detachable connection in which flanges, gaskets and bolts are connected to each other as a set of combined sealing structures.

Pipe flange refers to the flange used for piping in pipeline installations, and when used on equipment, it refers to the inlet and outlet flanges of the equipment. There are holes in the flange, and the bolts tightly connect the two flanges. The flanges are sealed with gaskets. Flanges are divided into threaded connection (threaded connection) flange, welding flange and clamping flange.

Flanges are always used in pairs, low-pressure pipelines can use wire flanges, and welding flanges can be used with pressures above four kilograms. Add a sealing gasket between the two flanges and tighten them with bolts. Flanges of different pressures have different thicknesses and use different bolts. When water pumps and valves are connected to pipelines, some parts of these equipment are also made into corresponding flange shapes, also called flange connection.

2.Tee
Tee is also called pipe fitting tee or tee fitting, tee joint, etc. It is mainly used to change the direction of fluid and is used at branch pipes of main pipelines. Can be classified according to pipe diameter size. Generally made of carbon steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum alloy, plastic, argon, PVC and other materials.
Tee is a kind of chemical pipe fitting with three openings, namely one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet. It has T shape and Y shape, with equal diameter pipe openings and reducing diameter pipe openings. It is used for The convergence of three identical or different pipelines. The main function of the tee is to change the direction of the fluid.

3. Elbow
In the pipeline system, elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipeline. According to the angle, there are three most commonly used elbows: 45°, 90° and 180°. In addition, according to project needs, other abnormal angle elbows such as 60° are also included. Elbow materials include cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics, etc.

The methods of connecting to pipes include: direct welding (the most common method) flange connection, hot melt connection, electrofusion connection, threaded connection and socket connection, etc. According to the production process, it can be divided into: welding elbow, stamping elbow, push elbow, casting elbow, butt welding elbow, etc. Other names: 90-degree elbow, right-angle bend, etc.

4.Valve
Valve is a pipeline accessory widely used in fluid control systems to open and close pipelines, control flow direction, adjust and control parameters of the conveyed medium (such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate). Their functions include but are not limited to:
Cutoff: Stop the flow of media.
Adjustment: Change the flow state of the medium.
Diversion: guide the flow path of the medium.
Prevent backflow: ensure one-way flow of media.
Stable pressure: Maintain stable pressure.
Diversion or overflow pressure relief: release excess energy through pressure relief.
