Carbon steel seamless pipe

Carbon steel seamless pipe(cs seamless pipe) is a seamless pipe made of carbon steel. Carbon steel refers to iron-carbon alloy steel with a carbon content of less than 2% (including 2%). Carbon steel can be further divided into low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and high carbon steel, mainly depending on the carbon content in the steel.

Carbon steel seamless pipe classification
1. General carbon content seamless pipes
Generally, steel with carbon content 0.25% is called low carbon steel. The annealed structure of low carbon steel is ferrite and a small amount of pearlite. Its strength and hardness are low, its plasticity and toughness are good, and it is easy to draw, stamp, extrusion, Forging and welding, among which 20Cr steel is widely used. This steel has a certain strength. After quenching and tempering at low temperature, this steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low-temperature impact toughness, and no obvious temper brittleness.

Purpose: In the machinery manufacturing industry, it is suitable for making welded structural parts and parts that are not subject to high stress through forging, hot stamping and machining. In the steam turbine and boiler manufacturing industry, it is mostly used for pipes, flanges, etc. that work in non-corrosive media. headers and various fasteners; also suitable for manufacturing small and medium-sized carburizing, carbonitriding and other parts in automobiles, tractors and general machinery manufacturing, such as handbrake shoes, lever shafts, gearbox speed forks on automobiles , transmission passive gear and tractor camshaft, suspension balancer shaft, balancer inner and outer bushings, etc.; in heavy and medium-sized machinery manufacturing industry, such as forged or pressed tie rods, shackles, levers, sleeves, clamps, etc.

2. Low carbon steel seamless steel pipe
Low carbon steel carburizing: Low carbon steel with a carbon content of more than 0.15% is used for shafts, bushings, sprockets and some plastics that require high surface hardness and good wear resistance after carburizing, quenching and low temperature tempering. Mold and other parts. After carburizing, quenching and low-temperature tempering, low carbon steel obtains a structure of high carbon martensite on the surface and low carbon martensite in the core, thus ensuring that the surface has high hardness and high wear resistance while the core has very high hardness and wear resistance. Good strength and toughness. Suitable for making handbrake shoes, lever shafts, gearbox speed forks, transmission passive gears, tractor upper camshafts, suspension balancer shafts, balancer inner and outer bushings, sleeves, clamps and other parts.

3. Medium carbon steel seamless steel pipe
Medium carbon steel: Carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.25% to 0.60%. Due to the increased pearlite content in the steel, its strength and hardness are higher than before, and the hardness after quenching can be significantly increased. Medium carbon steel seamless steel pipes are used to manufacture parts with high strength requirements and medium toughness. Usually used in tempering or normalizing state. In order to make the steel have the necessary toughness and eliminate its residual stress, the steel should be quenched and tempered into troostite.
