Carbon steel seamless steel pipes need rust removal and oiling when they are not galvanized; stainless seamless steel pipes do not need rust removal and oiling.
The rust removal methods of seamless anticorrosive steel pipes mainly include:
1. Cleaning (use solvents and emulsions to clean the steel surface to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants and similar organic matter);
2. Tool rust removal (mainly use steel wire brushes and other tools to polish the steel surface, which can remove loose or warped oxide scale, rust, welding slag, etc.);
3. Pickling (chemical pickling and electrolysis are generally used for pickling, and only chemical pickling is used for pipeline anticorrosion);
4. Spray (throwing) spray rust removal Spray rust removal is driven by a high-power motor to drive the spray blades to rotate at a high speed, so that steel grit, steel shot, iron wire segments, minerals and other abrasives are sprayed on the surface of the steel pipe under the action of centrifugal force.
After spraying (throwing) to remove rust, it can not only expand the physical adsorption of the pipe surface, but also enhance the mechanical adhesion of the anti-corrosion layer to the pipe surface. Therefore, spray rust removal is an ideal rust removal method for pipeline anticorrosion. Generally speaking, shot blasting (sand) rust removal is mainly used for pipe inner surface treatment, and shot blasting (sand) rust removal is mainly used for pipe outer surface treatment.
