Surface oxidation treatment of hot-rolled seamless pipe

The oxide film on the surface of the hot-rolled seamless pipe is thin and dense, and it is not easy to fall off. Normally, seamless pipes will produce 0.2 ~ 0.3 mm scale in heat treatment equipment. Slab defects in this range can be removed with galvanized iron oxide. If the defects are not within this range, the surface defects on the slab will inevitably be carried into the final product if they are not treated in all directions. Hot-rolled seamless pipes generally cannot use flame to eliminate surface defects of slabs. Flame disappearing will change the composition and crystal phase composition of the eliminated slab area, which will affect the corrosion resistance of stainless steel plate. Therefore, eliminating industrial equipment is a broad and effective way to solve the metal surface of stainless steel sheets. 1. Cleaning mechanical treatment of galvanized iron oxide
Galvanized iron oxide cleaning machinery is mainly composed of steel brush roller, controller mechanical equipment, high pressure water system, refrigeration system and clamping mechanical equipment. There are two stainless steel wire rollers (called steel brush rollers) installed on the roller seat, and the steel brush rollers run at high speed in the opposite direction of the steel billet. Clean the billet surface with stainless steel wire to remove galvanized iron oxide attached to the billet surface. The cleaning machinery of galvanized iron oxide can use more steel grades, but the removal of galvanized iron oxide is not thorough enough.



2. Water explosion pool
The water explosion pool uses circulating cooling water at normal temperature as a cooling chemical, puts the high-temperature casting billet into the water storage tank, and removes the galvanized iron oxide on the surface of the billet by water blasting. The basic concept is that water vaporizes instantly when it encounters a high-temperature slab, causing a "water explosion", resulting in a large amount of hot steam. The impact of the steam acts on the surface of the slab, causing the galvanized iron oxide to fall off. In addition, the slab and the galvanized iron oxide on its surface are cooled substantially by water at high temperatures, which creates a shrinkage stress field. Due to the different stress field specifications between the billet and the galvanized iron oxide on its surface, the galvanized iron oxide will crack and fall off. The water explosion pool has less investment, less maintenance, and low production, processing and operating costs.

3. Shot blasting machine eliminates.
Shot blasting machines are often used to remove galvanized iron oxide on the surface of the billet. The shot blasting machine is mainly composed of a sandblasting derusting room, grinding rod, sandblasting and derusting conveying system, shot blasting cleaning mechanical equipment, shot blasting compensator, dust removal equipment, air inlet and electrical equipment automatic control system, etc. The basic principle is to use the spring steel shot thrown by the shot blaster to destructively oxidize the galvanized iron on the surface of the billet to make it fall.
